The French workplace software platform LumApps has announced its intention to merge with our portfolio company, Beekeeper. The British private equity firm Bridgepoint bought LumApps in 2024. The takeover will result in a global workforce software group with a USD 1.1 billion valuation. The attractive cash deal allows Verve Ventures, which has backed Beekeeper since 2017 and is one of the company’s most significant shareholders, to make a significant capital distribution back to its investors. Furthermore, the exit demonstrates the dynamism of Switzerland’s ICT startup ecosystem.
