AVAtronics raised CHF 1.6 million from Verve Ventures, Zürcher Kantonalbank, Go Beyond Invest, Norga Capital, Accelerace Invest, and private investors.

With its AVA Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) solution, the Lausanne-based startup minimizes unwanted audio noise in a wide range of products and applications, such as phones, conferencing units, smart speakers, headphones, and hearing aids. “We anticipate noise and cancel it”, says CEO and co-founder Jeyran Hezaveh in our interview.

“Avatronics offers best-in-class noise cancellation technology for the audio industry, enabling larger bandwidth and better performance in noise reduction”, explains Susanne Schorsch, Investment Manager for investiere.

The company is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a subsidiary based at Sound Hub Denmark, in the north of Denmark, where it has access to world-class acoustic test facilities and audio experts.

With this round of financing, AVAtronics will develop the technology further, expanding AVA Noise Cancellation to new industries beyond headphones, enter new geographical markets outside of Europe, and expand the team.
